Is it possible to replace the "balance" screw on brake calipers.

I have some Ultegra 6500 brake calipers and the "balance" screw (allen head) has rounded is it possible to buy a replacement if indeed it is removable?

You could use any allan bolt that fits but the grub is neater

Best port of call would be your LBS. They are almost certain to have some lying in a spares box out the back. I've never come away from a shop empty handed when I've wanted a nut, bolt or clamp of some sort, no matter how obscure. A good bike shop will never throw anything like that away.

The amazing thing is that I have a tool kit full of tiny bits of bike and another big bin full of bits of house, plumbing bits, odd fixings, screws, God knows, and somehow I know what I've got ! If a problem arises I can usually go and find the part and fix the problem. For someone who sometimes questions his own mental acuity I find that astonishing.

I can lay my hands on all things mechanical, plumbing,electrical,van cars ..

if the wife asks me to find something in one of Her self emptying cupboards im at a loss.
she hoards..i put away.
