argh, shame but nevermind i'll look it up 
Not my role to answer this, but this post from Shaun explains the current situation. I find the website's mobile style is quite usable with a 2G connection (a bit slow but usable!) when I'm out of 3G range.

yeah i just read that post, i am using the free version too but i don't see any ads anymore? I use chrome browser and its not great and uses more data than the app but with most contract phones having unlimited data these days, i guess Shaun has taken everything into account and i think i would feel the same as he does about it to be honest.
