Your Photos look fab, a bloke from my club did it he posted on fb that he did it in 13h17m50s
I'm not sure what top he had on a yellow and blue DCC top or green and orange Carneigie Harriers running vest. I've forwarded him your flickr link he might be able to spot himself. Thanks Adrian. Wow, that's superb - well done him.
I saw an ERC top on a bike at one point but missed the shot - didn't see them again!
The Pros took 45min longer over the bike distance than would have been normal in better weather so it was certainly a gruelling event.
A guy on a running forum I use completed in 12:17.
Nice pics BTW.

Great pics!
Managed to pick out one of the lads from TWFRS Tri Club. He did 13.06
Perhaps the people in poor countries are too busy trying to feed and cloth themselves and stop there children dying from starvation to worry about taking part in an Ironman...which is no more expensive than any other branch of cycling and a lot cheaper than many sports. It is an oddly captivating and eccentric kind of sport that mainly attracts athletes from rich nations because of the huge cost in equipment and training and coaching.
