Tremendous bike porn in Tenby this past weekend!

We were here watching the Ironman event.

I posted a load of photos of it on my flickr if anyone is interested.

Totally inspiring watching these athletes and cheering them on. It's amazing. Hats off to each and every one of them.

I saw an ERC top on a bike at one point but missed the shot - didn't see them again!

The Pros took 45min longer over the bike distance than would have been normal in better weather so it was certainly a gruelling event.

Perhaps the people in poor countries are too busy trying to feed and cloth themselves and stop there children dying from starvation to worry about taking part in an Ironman...which is no more expensive than any other branch of cycling and a lot cheaper than many sports.
