This is in response to a video on ITV about two seriously injured cyclists near where I live.

You could try reporting it but I suspect it's more "rage bait" that facebook will be happy to allow. I posted a link about it on a similar thread a day or two ago: Laying the Rage Bait: Journalism on Social Media – https://social-media-for-better.ghost.io/laying-the-rage-bait-journalism-on-social-media/

If I get run over today, and you don't hear from me again - you'll know what was said and by whom

It's odd; I've commented on the same post and I got notified I had a reply from the same chap.

Edit: Context is, someone called on cycling to be banned cyclists to be licensed and I had retorted that driving should be banned.

Might be worth reporting it to the polis - while I hesitate to use the woke word, it does seem that they currently seem more keen on nailing people for words on social media than actions in the real world..

Interesting article. When I see something that is obviously rage bait on YouTube I don't leave a scathing comment - I block the channel. Posting a comment simply raises their ratings in the algorithm. Blocking them does not reward them.

Yeah, as good a reason as any as to venture no further than the cosy nook that is CC. :okay:

Indeed.. I'm on a few specialist, single-interest forums and they're generally well-moderated and pretty civilised.

Open FB groups on the other hand are like bobbing for apples in a barrel of cold sick..

He goes on to say "
Richard Stanley "it shows how unaware you are with whats happening around you! To busy running red lights or have earphones in or just riding with your entitled attitude must be some of the reasons why you've had so many near misses!"
