Anyone have experience of this? Did it work for you? Any feedback welcome.

(For those who don't know Intermittent Fasting is where you only eat during an 8hr window, say midday until 8pm, the rest of the day you eat nothing. It's supposed to really help your body consume fat reserves. You still eat the same amount, just in a contracted time period)

My brother has had some success with it, just wondered if anyone else has?

Sounds a bit bad science, tbh.

Eat less and you'll lose weight. I can't imagine you would eat the same amount in 8 hours as you would in around 16.

Yes I've tried and dropped from 11 st 12 lb to 11st 6 lbs in 6 weeks by only eating after 1pm --ie no breakfast.Thats a fast of around 17 hrs or so every day. Still got another 6lbs to go tho !

It probably means you eat less, therefore it works.

If you do this fasting correctly, it can have some real positive results as in your health, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, lower weight and lower chance of getting alzheimer's. Much better for you than just eating less calories.

No I eat abouth the same calorie wise, but the body burns fat as opposed to recently eaten breakfast instead.

So if you're eating the same calories, and the body is burning fat as opposed to recently eaten breakfast, then the recently eaten breakfast is........ being stored as fat. Right?
