Yes, this came up on my FB feed.
We do actually have, in a smaller scale, cycle paths in the Glasgow/Paisley/South Lanarkshire areas that serve several small communities, like the Glasgow to Dumbarton path.
Some have excellent surfaces, sadly most are unlit and untreated in winter.
It would be fantastic to have a proper, segregated, well maintained, cycling road from here to Edinburgh
