Can someone help me out I need to get some insurance as I don't want another bike stolen
Is it posable to have the two bikes on one policy as one is a cycle to work bike!!!

All 3 of my bikes are covered on my Marks & Spencer Home & Contents insurance. I think they are covered up to about £4k per bike. The Home insurance is quite expensive but I think the bike cover makes it worthwhile.

Can you not ask whoever pays the contents insurance to add the bikes? If you are living there your other contents will be insured. I pay about an extra £3 a month for each bike to be insured home and away and then have CTC for the rest. £200 is a very expensive way of getting the insurance.

Try ETA. Mine was something stupidly cheap like 40 quid a year or something (It is a cheap bike though, in all fairness).

I have been looking around to insure my tourer and my roadie, the former is £500 to replace and the latter I'd say £100. I have been quoted around £50-60 from various specialist insurers for a year inclusive of £1m third party liability. I haven't phoned up my parent's house insurers (Nationwide) yet to see how much they'd charge.

Does the above sum or something in that region sound reasonable for a year?

+1 for ETA, I had to buy a Sold Secure lock (not really a bad thing) but including 3rd party up to some £million my 2 bikes were insured for around £100 pa.
