Hey everyone,

Can any one help me please?

Myself and my partner are taking some time out this year to travel europe in our motorhome, we are going to take our bikes, can anyone recommend a cycle insurance company that will provide european cover for at least 6 months, also it would help if it including participating in charity cycling events - I can't find anyone that will cover us for more than 45 days!

Thanks

Alex

My first stop would be my home contents provider, after that contact www.CTC.org.uk

I'd second CTC, although I'm not sure if their cover extends overseas.

Come back and let us know.

Oh, and when you do go, make sure you come on CC and tell us all about it.

Cheers,
Shaun

A suggestion - not sure how it would work out for you. But, a number of companies provide 'kit insurance' for the military. Essentially, you decide how much kit from your normal contents insurance that you want worldwide insurance on, specify the high value items, and pay the premium. The insurance is not that expensive and it allows you to cover a range of items up to specified ceiling. If you google 'kit insurance' you will get a range of providers. Although primarily set up for the military, some will take civilians.
