Take care with the small print. One company excluded cycle touring for some reason. They also did not cover walking above 2000m altitude for some reason.

I've also seen altitude limits on cycling, and bike type (no MTB), wheel size and clothing requirements. As you say, read the policy wording aka small print before you pay.

I chose https://www.sportscoverdirect.com/ for my Spanish tour after looking at the CUK company but can't remember why. I made a claim for a cancelled holiday after my accident and it was dealt with very promptly.
