Installing Ultegra Internal Wiring

Started replacing my Ultegra Shifters on my road bike after damaging them in an "off" last year. Had to put in all new cabling which is, of course, internal routed. Have managed it but notice that when I change the front mech I also get a little movement in the rear mech. Is this normal and a result of the chain shift from one chain ring to another or have I "crossed the streams"?

Loch side.
It sounds to be as if your internal cabling doesn't require internal outer housing but relies on two clear runs for the inner cable to be held in tension down the frame somewhere. If one is shifted and the other one moves too, you have crossed your wires somewhere.

My suspicions too. Will rethread one tonight which should fix the issue.
