seen these on spa cycles at £3.50, is this about the best price on the net or can this price be beaten

Often they will be sold in packs of 5 or 10 which makes them cheaper per tube. Although £3.50 is a good price it does not mention the postal costs which I know Spa now charge for if the order is under a certain value.
EBay can be cheaper sometimes.

Planet X bikes have got £2 tubes last time I looked last week. I think there were a few different brands.

Depending on the quantity you want Merlin can end up cheaper for the Schwalbe SV15 because of carriage charges.
