inner tube sizing

Just been to my LBS and told him that my tyre size was 700 x 32 C the inner tube size he gave me was 700 x 35 - 45C he said they would be fine.

Is he correct? Using schwalbe marathon tyres which can be a bit hard to get on the rims at times so is the correct inner tube size crucial?

Well it will fit but it may seem a bit big - i.e. hard to get into the tyre body when installing and you will have to be careful if you let the air out to get the tube in, that you don't pinch the tube between tyre bead and rim.

Since your tyre is one and a quarter inch, roughly, I'd have thought that there'd be an inner tube for something like 1 to 1.5 inch (25 or 28 - 35mm).

But if you can get the tube installed OK, there's no reason why it won't work.
