Hi there,

I've recently built up my first bike. I've spent a sh*t loads of money on a wheelset and a frame, so I at the end I started to cheap out on some parts.
I've put my old inner tube in my rear wheel, so after inflating it up to 100psi it blew after 20 meters. So now I put a new tube in. And it seems that when I inflate it to 100psi or so, it starts deforming and tyre is not clinched to the rim in the place the old tyre blewout.
Could it be that the blowout fu** up my new tyre? or is it just the new tube is "not very good".?!

Cheers

yes an innertube blowout can ruin a tyre.
Best take the tyre off and check the bead for damage.

The tire could have become unseated. Check around the circumference of the rim, check that the tire is seated (edge of the tire inside the rim) properly all around. Also check for damage to the tire.

And :welcome: to the forums!

that's fine by me as long as you will provide unlimited bike repairs and suggestions on "would my bike look nicer with black or light gray tyres"

New MKS pedals are in the post, as well as "holdfast" straps.

Thats the tyre >> it is the front tyre which has not been "blown out" but it looks odd (old, but good schwalbe tube inside)

By the way white tyres with white chain now were talking or yellow
I saw quite a few of those ... the sense of colour or taste is non-existant.

That was a piece of tube sticking out. These things are hurting my already exhausted wallet .
