info on 1992-94 Ribble 731 OS FRAMES

I am trying to find out who built frames for Ribble from Reynolds 731 os in the early 1990 s
I try and load a picture of the frame later , its has lugs no frame number and the BB shell is very smart witha heart shape cut out underneath , shot in seat stays

Martelly frames usually have an elongated “club” cutout, like a stretched Colnago logo.

Mine is a 'Terry Dolan' RIBBLE 653 from mid 90's. That's a nice frame BTW.

The cut out is fancier than mine, but wouldn't put it past being a Terry Dolan built one.

I always remember Ribble frames as low quality, but that looks a cracker, I must not have come across the better ones at the time.

Nope they weren't - Terry Dolan built a load. Still got mine.

Check the "flat" on the left of the bottom bracket. There appears to be a number.

Ribble used to give you a load of colour choices from stock plus the option to come up with your own. Now it's any colour you like as long as it's black with most frame builders.
