hi guys .iam just buying a giant defy 1 road bike .ive been riding a mtb for the past 10 years and just want to know if these are any good as a bit worried about just using brakes on the drop bars , you know moving up and down all the time . are they worth the money and will they have any affect on the brakes on the bike . the last road bike i had had those ones that fitted in your brake leavers and were rubbish .

You can lock a wheel on a Defy no problem. Just take it to an empty car park and give it a good practice to get used to them if you're worried.
