Imminent change in the weather

The past couple of weeks have been excellent for cycling in terms of weather, even a bit too hot at times, but going out in the evening when it has been a bit cooler has been really good.

Just looked at the forecast and it is going to get quite wet in the next few days, too warm to wear waterproofs though so guess it will have to be wet rides and steamed up specs!!

I cant believe the weekend we have just had. All last week it was scorching whilst i was at work, two days at the weekend and not a sight of the sun. Back to worktoday and glorious! Law of the sod!

I've discovered that neither I nor my bike dissolves on rain

we need the rain our water butts are empty and the veg are starting to look like they need a prolonged soaking

I'll definitely still go out as soon as I get it, but it'd be nice if the weather was the same as the past week!

Bugger, and i leave for a week in Spain on Friday. Oh well i'll just have to keep enjoying the sunshine for a bit.
