Saw her and her band last night in The Point, Cardiff.
It was a fantastic night and would recommend anyone to go and see her if they get the chance.
She possesses a wonderful voice, got great stage presence, and was quite feisty! The guitarist was just jawdropingly good. The drummer hit them as hard as I've ever heard. The trumpeter/percussion/guitar/flugelhornist was amazing. The bass player was just psychopathic! Talk about "Thousand Yard Stare".
They played for an hour and a half with two encores. The place was awash with sweat from the amount of people in there and the excitement of the music itself.
The support act , The John Lewis Trio, were a bit of an enigma as only John himself turned up. But on his own, playing a very nice looking Guild Hollowbody(we think), swung the place for a good half an hour.
Overall 9/10. Marked down due to the price of the bottled water!
Oh and they were on Paul Jones' Show tonight on Radio 2. Available on playback I believe. Well worth listening to anyway!
