dan_bo - it's a really annoying ad campaign currently running. I think it is by Microsoft, but to be honest I scamper away from the page really quickly because it annoys me so much so I'm not sure!

I hate that ad...really annoying

SNAP! I hate any web content that starts playing sounds without me okaying it first. If I 'rollover' the ad, it isn't me giving permission, it's an accident. Especially annoying when what is being played is crap and intrusive, and also some of the voices are way too loud compared to the others. Absolute b******s !

Time for my geekdom to show...

It's a response to a series of ads run by apple (in the US, natch) that show a PC as a boring overweight middle-aged guy, and the mac as a younger trendy guy...

If you're really interested, you can browse around the apple site and find the original ads... some of them are quite funny..
