Looking for a pair of basic alloy rimmed 700c wheels. Rear must be 120mm OLN to fit my old Peugeot mixte frame. Would like them to take up to 38mm tyres.
Anyone got something like this in the parts bin?
The rear is the difficult one, fronts seem generally to all be 100mm OLN, even today...

By coincidence, I took delivery of a new flip/flop back wheel from Tredz today for about £55.
Is 120 oln and has really nice sealed bearings - very smooth - quite impressed.

Will be using it for my ride tomorrow.

I meant the rims. Your frame would stretch slightly. I had to pull mine apart slightly

I'm not sure you can do that with a mixte frame, too many joints and bridges. Otherwise, trust me, the car jack would have been put to good use long since!

Sorry but I don't have any spare 700c. The Peugeot had 27 1/4 wheels on it and I'm using them on another bike now.

I have had a look, and although the hubs are the right size, the rims are only 15mm so no chance of getting 38mil tyres on.
