Identify the Group in Esher

On Wednesday or Thursday this week I saw two groups of cyclists on the Portsmouth Road (A307) between Esher and Cobham in Surrey.

Does anyone know who they might have been? They looked fairly mature with a mixture of bike types between them.

Any ideas please? Yes, I know, perhaps it's an unusual request.

could have been the Midweek Wayfarers on their way to Cobham Royal British Legion Hall. 'Fairly mature' would be one way of putting it. 'Ever ready to regale you with stories about when they were evacuated in the war' would be another

You always seem very free with your snippy comments about the Wayfarers - yes there are some very elderly cyclists, like the guy over 80 who last year did a 100tt in under 5 hours. there are also a sprinkling of mid 50's early retired (like me) one of whom did LEJOG in 8 days in may and some younger memebrs like the free lance outward bound instuctor who comes along when free.
