Identification

Hi
I recently purchased this bike from a classifieds site. The brand is ORBIT and it is a touring bike but I don't what model it is,
it is either the SILVER MEDAL or GOLD MEDAL. I would be very grateful if someone could help me. The
top tube, where the model name would have been, has been resprayed in the past and the name has long gone.
The serial number is 007798.

Orbit are a small volume "hand made" manufacturer ofntourers and adventure touring MTBs. If memory serves they're a relatively modern outfit, dating back to about 1980.

Yours is a mish mash of components from different eras, but best guess is in the 1995-2005ish age range. Pretty sure Orbit are still going so if you email them they may be able to date if for you. If its 700c then it probably is a Gold medal.
