Hi guys,

I'm wondering your opinion on the value of this bike if anyone could share your thoughts,

It's an old Indi-Condor bike which I believe is an original collaboration model from the Indi-500 Australian bike company and the British Condor company.

It's got the old style gear system, and parts & fittings from Japan 'Shimano' & Kuwahara'

Here are some pics -

Welcome to the forum. Sorry, I don't really have an idea of the value. Many here will know more than me.
Nice looking frame with well finished lugs and quality dropouts.
In the 4th photo on the chain stay, there's a decal - I may be wrong - I think I'm seeing 'by Kuwahara' - does it say Made by Kuwahara?
They were well renowned for their BMX frames but also made some very good road frames.
Some photos of the Shimano derailleurs might help to assist the value.

Lovely bike Andrew and of great interest to vintage cycle enthusiasts plus possibly unique. Like most specialist items it’s a question of finding the right buyer, I’d suggest going on eBay and seeing how much similar bikes go for and put it on with what you consider a reasonable reserve. Could go for north of four hundred notes on a good day.
i can see you aren’t much of a bike enthusiast as you describe the gear system as “old style”, well I have to tell you it’s still in use today .
Might be of interest to some on here. Whereabouts are you?
Good luck with the sale.

I would not suggest the value is anything out of the ordinary. The desirability of a bike depends on several factors, the quality of the frame steel, the quality of the mechanical parts, and the rarity or collectability of the make/model.
This one is not great cosmetically, and a professional frame repaint is north of £200 so that should be borne in mind.

Welcome @Andrew22 nice bike
Value wise in the UK somewhere between £50 and £150 depending upon how much work is required .
Check that the seat post is not seized in the frame as I always worry when I see one so far in the frame as yours is

Early 80's? Not that old, not historically significant, no provenance that might enhance its value. I'm with Biggs, £150 if its in good running order and wants for nothing, 50 if it needs tyres, choobs, cables, chain, brake blocks, bar tape and time spending on it.

It does look nice though, and with any look should be a pleasant machine to ride.

I’d like to get my hands on it. But I pay a pittance for my projects!

It’s got a certain something. Good luck with your valuation.

Maybe I was overstating the price. I looked on eBay and found this U.K. steel Condor on at £495, admitted in in much nicer condition

. Could be if the OP is in Oz it might be it has a special significance.
As Biggs says the seat post could be a worry, so try and move it, if all is okay mention that in the ad.

I don't think it has anything to do with that Condor but i could be wrong
