Ian's Hello and bike history

Hello from me, Ian that is. I'm 67 and been my interest in cycling has been on and off over the years since childhood. In 2000, I bought a BMW R1100RT and permanently parked my 1987 Battaglin road bike in the garage until July this year.

The motorbike has been sold and the road bike brought back to life. However I have also bought a Brompton H6L folder and so no longer do I always have to wear Lycra and strut around the shops with road shoes and cleats!

I came here to get updated on current road bike technology and generally to enjoy the chat.

Hello I an and welcome aboard! Nice bikes you have there. I keep toying with the idea of a brompton. BTW if you're really geeked by bromptons then I'd recommend History of Bromlton, the book.
