Hannah from Brilliant Bikes recently had a tour of Brompton's R+D and testing facility. Some people complain about the cost but I'm not sure if there’s any other bike company that has such rigorous testing. Reassuring to see that the battery packs are comprehensively abused during testing. Well worth a watch.

What do you do with luggage when you have a battery bag on the front block?

I guess use a bigger bag and put the battery in that. Use a back pack or fit a rear rack. All depends on need.

I have the electric version of the standard Brompton basket bag. There’s central recess for the battery and it looks as if you could mount a couple of extra batteries one each side of the main one to give you extra range. You would of course need deep pockets 😁

Yes I agree. I think that's a project for the future. I am happy with my bike as it is.😊
