I think I've trapped a nerve

I'm getting these shooting sensations down my left arm, ending up in a shower of pins and needles in the palm of my hand plus a little in the wrist too.

I reckon I must have trapped a nerve in the shoulder a couple of days back when lifting some stone. I hate going to the doc with silly things like this. Fortunately, tomorrow's a public holiday here so it'll be Tuesday earliest before I make an appointment. Hopefully, it'll be gone by then

I hope I'm not telling you the obvious but if you get tightening in chest and shortness of breath gets yourself into a&e as it could be heart issues. A trapped nerve is not nice, get yourself to the GP when you can and check NHS direct online

Cheers ttcyle, I didn't know that. In my case, I don't think it's anything quite that ominous! Feels a little better today, still a little tingly in the hand but the shooting sensations down the arm have stopped.

head off to the doc for sure, get them to check you. if its a trapped nerve physio can sometimes free it.
