I think i just fell in love

With my new bike

Went from a Felt QX65 Hybryd 9which I still have)to my first road bike,a Specialized Allez 27 Sport

Only had it a week and it felt really awkward at first

Been out tonight and for the first time everything just seem to fall into place

Easier to ride,very precise,much easier to get up the hills,pretty scary going down them though

Overall a much more pleasant experience,so much more that I went round my normal keep fit circuit twice

For anyone considering going from Hybrid to Road ,just do it

I'll second that.. Went from my hybrid to a road bike a few weeks ago,,its amazing the difference,,love it!!

I've just started using my single speed for the winter. Was passed by a guy on his road bike this evening. I was more of less keeping pace with him until a slight downhill and I reached my maximum cadence... then he just disappeared. About half a mile later he was a good 500 yards ahead of me, and that was the last I saw of him.
