Due to my wife having an upgrade on her contract, i am selling her old i-phone 3GS, it has been used on the o2 network so i'm unsure if this phone is locked or unlocked ? probably best to assume its locked .. the phone is in good used condition and is in the original box with wall charger and USB lead and a rubber case ... £90 plus p+p ono

FYI I got my sisters old 3GS, to unlock it she just rang Vodafone (in her case), they get it unlocked by apple, and next time you plug it into itunes with internet access it's unlocked. Once its paid for you're entitled to have it officially unlocked. Might help it sell.

Svendo is right. I did the same with a 3GS on the 3 network at the end of it's contract. 3 unlocked it after a quick phone call.

IME every O2 phone I've ever had has always been open to all networks, but I have never had an iPhone on O2 TBH.

A locked O2 phone will work with Giffgaff as well
