I love my bike!

My last ride was 9 days ago so as I had a bit of time to spare this morning I went for a 10mile ride. What a joy. I felt liberated and happy. Can't wait for next longer ride.

A break every so often makes you realise how good they are I've not been outdoors on my bike since yesterday and I'm going stir crazy (Like I wasn't already )

I cycled tonight for the first time in over a week and wondered why I've been taking the bus and tube to work. Admittedly I've been loaded with the cold on and off since August and I did only nip to Asda earlier but, you know, still better than being sat on my arse on the sofa

I had 2 days off last week thursday and friday i realy wanted to go out for a few rides but i was waiting for a part for the bike that i ordered on tuesday till i got the part i couldnt use it gutted, it came on saturday when i was at work by the time i got home i was knackerd gutted again

Sunday was way to windy i wouldnt of enjoyed it, so i went out last night for a quick blast it felt great runs like a dream as i did some work on it when i couldnt use it.

I'm going stir crazy with this extreme (or as it is becoming, normal) weather. Rain and gales for the last 4 days. I NEED to get out soon! My employment at the moment consists of short notice agency shifts (driving HGVs) so if they phone me tomorrow or whenever the weather eases off a bit, I will be telling them I have other arrangements. Forsake the miserly wages for a day on the bike? Too right I will!

I went out this lunch time for 15 miles, was very windy felt like most of the ride was into the wind but came back knackered but happy :0)

You lot should worry. Due to health problems not been on my bike since September. Hope to get the all clear to start cycling again on 12th December. I really can't wait.

cant go out on mine at the mo the rear wheel is back in the cycle shop as ive managed to buckle it again..............
