I Left my Marin for a Trek

"Erm I know I told you that i wanted the Larkspur, but can I try the Trek 7.3FX again"....

Thankfully Alistair is a great guy and was happy to give me another go (fourth time) and concede that the two bikes were hard to choose from.

I have changed my mind and put my money down on the Trek now instead because its just so quick, nimble and comfortable to boot. The park area where I took the bike is dead flat and a mile loop around the cricket pavillion. I felt like Valentino Rossi with the head down on straights and i managed to lean the bike over like I was on the IOM!

Hopefully when I call into the shop next month to collect my new bike it will be the Trek and I dont start thinking twice about the Larkspur etc.

The Larkspur does look so great in the brushed silver though...

I have an older (2007) Trek 7.3fx. Loving it. Easy to look after and quick on the commute - at least it feels like it is - even if loads of people zoom past me!

But as others say - two is better than one.
