In case anyone missed my delighted posts about it, my wonderful OH bought me a helmet cam for Christmas. I wasn't expecting it at all because I'd never even mentioned my desire to own one, so it was a wonderful surprise.
I've been out with it a couple of times now, and have uploaded the (edited) videos to YouTube. They're both done with the camera on the bar mount because I need to get a new helmet to mount it on - don't want to put the mount on my road helmet because it's fiddly to take on and off, and I don't want to look like an idiot riding on the road with a camera mount on my head! The first video I made is also a bit weird because I had the camera mounted sideways - amateur!
Today's ride is all on fire roads, so it's non-technical (although pretty rocky in places, and the first climb was very hard), but the views are spectacular. Here's the video:
