I bought a Focus Black Forest 4.0 XT 2011

I've had it a few weeks now and all was fine, the brakes where a little disapointing but I have got used to them.
Two weeks on I have noticed that when using it on the road the front wheel tends to choose it's own direction slightly, either left or right which obviously can be dangerous when cars or overtaking.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? If so what do I need to do?

It sounds like the front wheel has come loose. To check, open the quick release lever on the front wheel by pulling it towards you. The nut on the opposite side should be set so that when you tighten the quick release lever back up, you should feel it bite when it's parallel to the ground. If you are unsure then pop onto any bike shop. Only a 30 second job.
