This might be a stupid question ( if it is i'll slap myself) ino i could measure my current one - but its currently in the works cycle shed after commuting into work this morning

do all hybrid 700cc wheels have a rear 135mm axle or 130mm

as i'm looking to change the wheels but struggling to find some with 135m rear axle

To the best of my knowledge, all cassette type "hybrid" wheels are 135mm. 130mm is for cassette type road bike wheels.

Anything you choose with a higher spoke count (32 or 36 spokes) is likely to have the wider hubs. I hope this helps.

Most hybrids ime have 135mm rear hubs.

135mm hub rim brake 700c wheels do exist off-the-shelf but the choice is not great. However assuming you are talking about qr wheels, since the hollow axles are usually 11mm wider than the locknut distance, at a stretch you might be able to space 2.5mm out each side of a 130mm road wheel (if the rear mech can go adequately inboard, otherwise if cup and cone you can put more spacers on the non-drive side and redish).
