Hi guys
First post and straight into a question

Currently own a Boardman MX Comp Hybrid which I use as a daily commute but am finding the stock fork - a Suntour NCX-D LO Lite a complete nightmare with regards to comfort and also the fact that the quick lock lever has now popped off twice now and keeps doing so everytime the forks are unlocked and doing their job.

I dont mind spending a few bucks to get rid of the damn things but need to know if the ones I have seen are 100% compatible...

Here are the ones I am currently looking at which are incidentally an upgraded air fork (much more to my liking) with the added bonus of remote lock out - so no more hassle with the speedlock lever

Or I can stay with the spring suspsension but still with remote lock out - as seen here

Your thoughts and advice please!

Hi jono73. Welcome to forum. Have you considered other brands of fork as well as the Suntour? The air fork will be lighter if your budget goes that far. Take a look at Rockshox forks I've used that brand in past.
Other consideration is what you use the bike for - maybe you could cobsider a rigid fork if you are mainly on road.
