hello all i finally converted my sirrus to a winter trainer (before)http://i50.tinypic.com/2q86jic.jpg (after) http://i46.tinypic.com/347tb4h.jpg thankyou to everyone on the forum for their help with this,i got the shifters on ebay, the 10 speed front crankset and front deraileur are from my race bike which was upgraded,i kept the mtb nine speed rear deraileur and cassette, everything working fine shifts as smooth as my 105 groupset which is a big surprise, the v brakes with the brifters do feel spongey and are a bit fiddley to set up but braking is excellent, all i have to do now is cut the steerer tube to get rid of extra spacers and fit an adjustable stem to lower the handle bars another cm thanks again i would never attemted this without advice from this forum

wow, that is looking good.
Though I do think black outer cables & bottle cages would have looked better. But that's me.
