Hybrid circa 250gbp advice please

Hi,

Price range is about 250 pounds, the only caveat is that it should be robust enough for occaisional weekend touring. Was thinking trek 7.1 but open to any suggestions and advice. Oh and it is for a woman.

A bit out your budget st £292.00 in Evan but I strongly recommend a specialized vita

Vita if road orientated cycling.

Globe if going for more traffic free trails and paths.

Raleigh's Pioneer Metro LX @ £270 (I daresay they'll be 2008 stock deals around).

And if you're anywhere near a Decathlon store, their b'twin bikes look very good value.
