Huge Elbow Pain (Unexpected)

Hola all,

My left elbow hurts like hell and is really hot (compared to the other one) and not swollen (ditto compared to the other).

This came on this afternoon and is fairly unexpected, I did some weights last night (not out of the ordinary) and spent all Sunday crawling around working on my brothers scrapper so could have hurt it then... though it was my other arm he hit with the club hammer

The hot worries me as with horses it means infection and I don't want an infected elbow :s

update everything I've googled so far lists swelling and I have none :s

gonna go to bed, maybe with painkillers, please have it fixed by morning internet

Don't like to mention this but I had a hot and painful elbow and it turned out to be a bone tumour.

I had something similar earlier this year, caused by a cycling accident. Turned out to be BURSITIS. Nasty. I was going to be operated but they eventually treated it with an antibiotic intravenous drip. Three days in hospital. Suggest you get yourself to casualty pdq.

ok massively disliking bone tumor. Bursitis shows a swelling I don't have. (though it does look v scary)

new symptom, less hot, not painful this morning will report back if it gets worse, otherwise writing it off as a storm in a teacup

Go to the doctors. You'd be very stupid to ignore this.

Google is not a diagnostic tool, get yourself seen and if it's nothing major then good if it's something serious you can get it treated. Burying your head in the sand is not a good idea

I've been meaning to book a check in for a while to see if theres anything weird come out of my changing exercise habits and to find out if I can give blood ect so I'll hurry up and do it

starting to twinge again, potentially morning run related. Debating whether or not to go out mtbing with the club tonight I think I'll see how I feel at the time.

Unfortunately I've been induced into eating too much lunch so now just feel heavy/slow :s

I am seeing the GP tomorrow as I have a sore arm/elbow too, which I think may be due to cycling...bah!
