Smash the cistern
I'm planning on converting the CdF to a Campagnolo triple (thanks @Tommy2 ) so I'll be flexing my wheelbuilding muscles again. I'd just like to pick the brains of those more knowledgeable than me regarding hub choices. Criteria are:
  • Road bike width
  • Disc brake compatible
  • Campagnolo freehub (9sp)
  • 32 spoke
  • For a bike that's used daily, year round, in all conditions so must be durable and low maintenance.
  • Not fussed about weight.
  • Planning to convert front wheel to dynohub but that's a project for another day so I'm just interested in the rear for now.
  • Don't want to spend silly money.
So what are my options? A quick search doesn't throw up much that's disc and Campagnolo compatible. Any ideas welcome.

I won't be proceeding until the other bike build is complete, so there's plenty of thinking time...

DT Swiss 240s come is disc versions and Campy options.

Still part of the team !
I've got Hope Evo 2s and Royce Venus They were Campag but, since I went to a 32 cassette and a Shiftmate, they've been converted to Shimano.
Both lovely hubs. The Hopes are red to match the (Hope wavy) rotors.
Easy replace bearings on the Hopes and they're made in Lancashire near to where I grew up..
The Royces are pricey but beautifully made (in Hampshire). Greasing them is a doddle with their greasing kit.

Excellent customer service from both companies.

Smash the cistern
The DT Swiss website I find baffling with all its different optional extras. I don't know which bits are standard and which bits I'd need extra.

Novatec seem to want to describe their products purely through the use of symbols, without defining what those symbols mean.

Hope I think would be the default option. If I asked my LBS, they'd suggest Hope. I thought they were in Derbyshire though, not Lancs?

Those Royce hubs look very nice, but rather fail on my last bullet point above. Maybe if best bike needs new wheels...

Cheers all, keep 'em coming, particularly if anyone can comment on build quality, performance, maintenance etc :okay:
