@derrick it's a long shot, but at 7.99 won't break the bank.
Aldi's are having a cycling event next week, get your wife one of the "racing style" ones to try, the narrower ones.
It's a very comfortable saddle from my female point of view ^_^, I've put it on 3 bikes now.
There must be others in agreement, because in my local branch if you don't go on the first day of the event the narrow saddles are all gone, while the bigger "ladies style" ones are leftover.

Isn't it Lidl? I know Aldi have their own event near the end of March, but Lidl are doing the 7.99 saddles next week.

I've been eyeing them up myself as just something to try to improve comfort. I resorted to an old scrappy saddle in favour of comfort, would be nice to have something that looks nice!

I am female and have an Adamo saddle (probably not that exact model) on my Time Trial bike (having found that very sensitive areas got very squashed in the TT position with a conventional saddle (TMI?)). My experience is that you are very aware of your weight being on your sit bones and you definitely have to spend some time getting used to it, especially if you want to do longer distances. However I did eventually do some longer rides on mine; but I'd have to work up to doing that again.

She has now bought one, i fitted it last night she just needs to try it out, I sat on it while the bike was stationary and it did feel nice but time will tell. we will have to do a ride before Saturday as she is doing a 2 up TT Saturday afternoon.:whistle:

Ops, sorry, I do get Lidl and Aldi mixed up all the time :blush:
My very comfy saddle comes from Aldi.

Thanks for clearing that up, it's good to know, I know Aldi and Lidl stuff has a difference in quality, I always find Aldi better. I'll hold fire and try Aldi in a couple of weeks. :okay:
