Hi all, just come back from london/brighton run and WOW what a day. This is my eighth week of cycling and up to today my best was 35miles in one go.Today i cycled back home after the l/b and completed a total of 75miles, not bad for a old man of 53 and yes i did get up Ditchling Beacon, well worth the effort as the journey down is superb.I only freewheeled and still hit44.7mph:tongue:

I heard the big problem is getting back. You say you came back today? If you don't mind my asking, did you have accommodation sorted ages ago? I heard both b&bs and return transport are just impossible to get.
