How To Stop Brake Block Squeal

As above.... and I know there'll be a really simple solution, but I've never had this problem before.

The best way to describe using my front brake today, would be "Airzound, eat your heart out"

Toe them in.

Mine were squeeling really bad the other night

I think I may have got some oil on my rims off the rag I was wiping the bike down with the previous night :sad:

The first big down hill, my brakes were sh1te,didnt stop me and I had to put my foot down or I'd have gone over the roundabout:eek:

It comes and goes even with toe in on my bike. Very wet weather they squeal toed in or not. This was not much of a problem with caliper brakes Cantis seem worse for some reason.

Brake blocks can get a bit glazed on the surface, try lightly roughing the surface of the pads with emery cloth or sandpaper can help.
