Hi there,

I've been a lurker on these forums for a while and wondered if anyone could help me.

I recently bought a Muvi Veho VCC-004 video camera to mount on my helmet. I can mount this fine with the included accessories. However, I've also bought a waterproof case for it as it seems to rain during my commute nearly every day now. However, can I hell get the bloomin waterproof case mounted to my helmet? CAn I heck!

Does anyone have one of these mounted to their helmet in the waterproof case and would be willing to share a picture of how they did it? No matter how much I try, I can't seem to get the camera mounted on my helmet at an angle where it will actually film anything other than the sky. It's really frustrating!

At the moment, the camera is in my bag most days as I can only mount it on the helmet when it's not raining..

I'd be grateful for any advice you may have!

THanks

I bought the waterproof case for said rainy days, and when I realised I couldn't mount it in any decent way to my helmet I shelled out for the 'official' pro handlebar mount. But this sacrificed one of my front lights. Not happy with that. So that was £35 well wasted.

Just wrap the bugger in a thin layer of clingfilm and strap it to your helmet as normal. Seems to work okay

I used to use a Muvi Micro, would strap it around my forehead under my helmet visor, kept it pretty dry, and bluetack over exposed ports. If thats any help, myt be a different cam.

Thanks guys.

Cling film it is then!

At least it's comforting to know that it's not just me being stupid in not being able to mount the thing on my helmet!

THanks
