how tall is your manager?

I've noticed that a lot of managers these days seem to hover around the average 5'8'' mark, almost as if not to alienate shorter workers.

Very tall managers seem to end up getting shunted into *special duties* type roles... sort of project management, as if they can't be trusted with short people.

Very short managers seem to be very short on the ground, but they are generally big characters... and my favourites.

I'm 5'9" and my boss is quite a bit taller than me he must be 6' plus, bizarely enough I've never actually asked him.

My manager in called umpah after the umpah lumpahs ( is that spoilt correctly?) He's about 5' 1" !
oh and some of the lads call him ELF which stands for Evil Little F###ker!
