might have been a still birth which is why she didn't go to prison??? but i doubt she wouldn't know she had given birth to a 7lb baby!

If you read the full story, and what she says is true, I can't imagine how she must have felt. The grief and guilt would have been punishment enough.

i would imagine it was still born and she panicked. haven't read the full story, but its usually something like that if someone gets a suspended sentence.
