How Much Kit?

This isn't a what should I buy but how much should I buy thread. How much kit do people have that they use in a regular basis?

At the moment I have a gel cover I put on my saddle for padding and use 3/4 running leggings I got in Decathlon. They're ok for all it costs though I'm doing longer rides in the morning now and with summer doing rides at the weekend too. Later in the week and during long rides I can very much notice the limitations of this set up.

I'm going to change the saddle from the stock one my Triban came with and get a new one and get some new cycling bottoms. The running ones I use at the minute ride down and display my ample backside so I'm constantly adjusting them. For that reason I want some bib tights. I have two pairs of the running leggings which I wear 2/3 days each during the week. So I was going to get 2 pairs of bib tights for commuting. I may then treat myself to a fancier pair for longer weekend rides. How does compare to everyone else?

I quite like the 3/4 length. Only 3/4 bib tights I seen so far at the cheaper end of the spectrum are dhb Vaeon Roubaix. They're classed as winter tights but rated up to 15C. I can't think I'd be cycling much in temperatures above that? They're more than I'd ideally want to spend for everyday wearing and weekly washing but hopefully they'd hold up ok?

Decathlon do some decent looking bib shorts for £24.99 so that always an option as well though they aren't 3/4 length.

Roubaix ones will likely to be too warm other than in winter proper, so I'd get their non-Roubaix ones to be honest. . DHB kit in general is very good value for the money - I have a fair bit of their stuff. Their more expensive ranges are nicer than their cheaper ones - but all are OK in my experience. DHB sizing is bonkers and random - so buy bigger than their charts say, but Wiggle do take returns so it's not a major problem. For what it's worth, I tend to wear 3/4 bibs for most of the year, and shorts only when very warm, and proper winter drawers only very occasionally

As long as I breathe, I attack.
7 pairs of bib tights and about the same number of jerseys
2 gilets
2 windproofs
waterproofs
buffs
2 winter gloves
3 thin full finger
3 fingerless gloves
overshoes
2 pairs of cycling shoes
1 pair of winter cycling boots
I commute most days and need more than a wash and wear as kit tends to disappear into the endless abyss of kids washing and reappear at a later date.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Stiff-soled MTB shoes are the only cycling kit I have in regular use at the moment. A lightweight long-sleeved top is used for longer rides on warmer days (I dislike plastering my arms with sunblock but don't like wearing a shirt on long rides) and I carry a lightweight cycling jacket if the weather's changeable. All the rest of my stuff is just clothes, but I ride comfortable roadsters (think Pashley Sovereign style) and can understand why sportier bikes encourage the full superhero+nappy kit. ;-)

3 pairs of cheapo Decathlon cycle shorts.
A short sleeved jersey my wife found in the 2nd hand section of the market.
A lidl short sleeved jersey.
A Tenn long sleeved jersey
A 25 year old shower proof jacket.
Cheapo gloves, shoes, helmet, glasses, etc..

ETA: Oh, forgot to mention my trusty Ronhill Tracksters without which I doubt I'd touch my bikes all winter.

I've got in use at the minute:

4 waist shorts
3 bib shorts
1 bib tights
4 base layers
4 long sleeve jerseys
2 short sleeve jerseys
1 pair arm warmers
2 pair thermal socks
1 pair spd shoes
1 lightweight jacket

I've accumulated clothes over the last year and a half. But with the above I can cycle at least 4 days between washes.

I'm currently using:

3 x padded waist trousers, 2 for commuting and 1 for weekends.
2 x padded waist shorts for hot days
2 x lightweight long sleeve jerseys
2 x lightweight short sleeve jerseys for hot days
1 x wind proof jersey for cooler days (been my most used jersey recently)
1 x warmer jersey for colder days
1 x helmet
4 x pairs of fingerless gloves
2 x pairs of gloves with fingers

Everything else I wear is just normal clothes or walking shoes.

I didn't think I had that much stuff but when it's written down I obviously do.
