Thank you all for your advice. I'm very grateful. I'll read the T&Cs that BT are offering and try out some of the download utilities that you have mentioned. Bangalore said that BT couldn't tell me my usage on my current contract. The technical helpline might be able to I suppose.
Thanks again.

You could always look around for an unlimited package.

Bt can tell you how much you use very accurately indeed. They probably just couldn't be bothered finding out. Just remember that everything is negotiable. I'm currently paying a tenner a month for unlimited bb with them!

Is that a business account BB? Our company pays about £32 a month at present. The 50 GB tariff would be about £20 pm, and the new unlimited package would be about £26. I have no idea how that compares to other suppliers, but BT is pretty good when things go wrong, unlike the dreaded TalkTalk which we have at home.

That's a home package. Personally I find them rubbish. We are currently without bb and phone line with no clear fix for weeks. Although in honesty I think they are all as bad as each other! I'm on a tenner a month as they price matched someone else but with better deals coming out all the time it will soon be time to renegotiate!
