Have had the garmin 800 since Christmas, but i have not really had a chance to use it much owing to the weather, but over the last couple of weeks i have had a good play with it, and i am loving it does so much more than the phone apps and the cat eye i was using before, using the mapping is so easy, setting up the heart rate monitor cadence and speed sensor straight forward, the speed sensor is really handy on the rollers, have just fitted the cadence sensor so looking forward to see what that looks like after my next ride, don't know how i got on without it, got a few new rides down loaded onto it now, so i should never get lost again, it's a real must have bit of kit,. how does everyone else get on with there one, it seems to take a bit of time to get your head around the way it all works, but after playing with it for a while it's straight forward. i love it.

I love mine, but still get confused with how it can behave differently on different rides, despite having the same settings

Mrs Bearing got one some time back, I can't get it of her now!
We've used it in the UK and cycling in Spain last year and found our way to the top of clagged in Scottish mountains as well. In all that time we only found one oddity....we interrupted a .gpx course we'd entered to veer of to a cafe some two miles away, getting back on track and it tried to navigate back to the start point rather than follow the rest of the route,
No, overall a great little device.
