So, this arrived this morning via DPD from Italy, and I'm wondering how long to leave it before opening and assembling?

And, as a side note, how old does a bike need to be to be considered 'vintage'? I think it's ok to call it a classic, having won Milan San Remo and the Vuelta (not this particular example. but the model!) Any guesses as to what it might be? ^_^

I pick up the post from work and admit to being a tad concerned there was a package from China.

It was before we all became experts on how long the virus survived on different surfaces though.

Enjoy the new bike. 👍

We leave things 3 days a n our house. As it will have been packaged in Italy more than 3 days ago the contents should be fine so just wipe the box with antibacterial wipes and open

At least 3 days , wipe down all over with disinfectant wearing gloves and no kissing or romantic stroking ^_^

Once wiped down and dry leave for at least 12 hrs , if tyres are inflated TAKE CARE and don't beathe in the air
