I am new to this sport and was wondering what is a good cycling computer just want the basics and average over the distance

I got a cateye strada wireless. Its got all I want on it and I have found no faults yet.

I've got a Strada - it's ok, but the Cateye Micro wireless is cheaper and doubles not just distance, but average speed and several other functions. Only drawback is that I've had two go faulty - no problem getting them replaced though. And I've bought another for a new bike that I've got on order.

Tesco do a wired one for a fiver that has worked very well on my hybrid.
Some of the recommended ones so far are £30+ not exactly basic

I've got the basic Trek one on four bikes because I like it so much. Simple, reliable, cheap, easy to use.
£10 here at first result in a search. As I don't need another one I haven't looked further.
