How do you remove a non quick-release thru-axle? Also looking to use an indoor trainer (wheel on), how would I be able to fit it onto the bike?

(Pics can be provided if needed)

Thanks in advance

They are all different as I believe there is no standard. Fitiing on the bike will probably require an adapter from the maker.
This may help:

My guess would be with a 5mm Allen key, but it depends on the specific model.

A suitable adapter should be available from the same place your bought your trainer.

Well, it's something to bear in mind when you do get round to buying one.

Even if you have standard QR wheels you have to replace the skewer to use it on a trainer - it needs to have nuts the right shape to fit in the trainer's clamps. The special skewer is usually supplied with the trainer, and some models may even come with an adapter for through-axles in the box, or available to buy separately as an accessory.

I do know that some trainers come with a skewer, but I just wanted to know how to remove the axle. I'm a bit miffed off that the bike didn't come with quick release when it showed it in the pictures on the website at the time I was configuring the setup.

My bike has non-q/r axles - to remove all you do is unscrew them using the lever and then pull skewer through

I would suggest now would be a good time to post a picture
