How do you rate the Specialized Toupe saddle?

My mate is thinking to treat himself with a Specialized Toupe saddle and asked me if I new anything about them. I said that I had heard good comments on CC but other than that I have never looked into it in more details.

So here is another pool that I hope it can help a bit

I use a cheaper BG saddle in the range, and it is very comfy, and today I'm wearing blue pants although not when on the bike

The size of my pants doesn't really matter as the saddle comes in different sizes. Make sure your mate gets his bum measured on an ass-o-meter before he buys one.

Now use Bontrager Race Lite Saddle.

I have both versions and love them both. No undies for me, indeed I cannot think why you would want undies. If you are trying to work out the size of the arse - it is medium.

Perhaps the OP wears a cape and dresses like Superman when he goes out for a ride?

I have both and prefer the standard rather than the gel However bizarely it is a great fit on the road bike but really uncomfortable on my fixed

No underwear just padded shorts

I found it comfortable right from the start. Do tell your mate to get his sit bones measure first, then he can get the right size...
